About Charlene McMurtrie
The one thing Charlene enjoys most about her work as a copywriter and creative strategist is the opportunity to ask, “What’s the big idea?” – better still, is the chance to answer it. This is the kind of inquiring mind that drives her to create unique, attention-grabbing and on-target messaging for her clients. It’s something she’s been doing for more than 15 years for all kinds of businesses and causes.
Her work includes B2B and B2C advertising and marketing for such firms and organizations as W.L. Gore & Associates Medical Division, Arizona Private School Association, Salt River Project, DMB Associates, The Phoenix Symphony, The Phoenix Suns, and United Rentals, to name a few. In 2004, she left the agency world and started her own business, Preface, a small communications studio that helps businesses define and leverage their brand stories to connect with prospects and customers.
